Hi Cashel! I just wanted to congratulate you on your successful webpage and in getting the word out there about SMA. No one ever really talks about it even though it is one of the most prevalent forms of Muscular Dystrophy. I was diagnosed at 16 months with type II and my parents were told that I wouldn't live to see 16. I'm now 35 and recently married so we're all miracles in our own little way. I look forward to following your sites. ~Lara B.

hi cashel, I commend you on your website and your reaching out to others to let them no about SMA. I actually had ever heard about this until hearing about Avery. I actually had a daughter pass as baby and I know we never tested for SMA and this was 13 years ago. Please keep up the good work of getting the word out about SMA.

Dear Cashel: I am so proud of you. Over the past year, I have gotten to know you and your family and I feel very blessed to have you all in my life. You are such an inspirational family. And Cashel-you are such an amazing young man. You inspire me and help me to keep my perspective in check. You lie on a bed all day and night, and you have reached out to so many people and touched so many people in ways that are beyond belief. You are an angel and you are doing God's work. God Bless You Cashel for giving other children with SMA the hope that they could have a happy life, like you. I know you love being Cashel Gardner. You are awesome!!!! God Bless You Cashel for making others aware of this disease. We all need to be aware of how we can help one and other. The first step is love and you -Cashel and your family are overflowing with it. Don't give up and keep on doing what you are doing. Sharp idea coming from a sharp young man. I love you Cashel!!! (Tina XOXO)
